Season 4 is Coming, and Joining the Quite the Thing Podcast Network

So a funny thing happened on the way to getting Season 4 of Podcaster Stories ready - from personal and work life, to guests that weren't really right for the show.

This resulted in the new season being delayed by about a month, which I apologize for. The good news is that Season 4 will be released next week, so I'm looking forward to sharing more awesome stories with you.

There's also an update about the Quite the Thing podcast network that Podcaster Stories is now part of, and is very much geared towards community focus and engaging our listeners, so I'm stoked to be part of that.

Thanks for your patience over the summer, and I hope you've had a safe and enjoyable one. Here;'s to Season 4.

Speaker:

Hi, and welcome to this special episode of Podcaster Stories.

Speaker:

Truth be told, this should have been the first episode

Speaker:

of Season 4. Unfortunately, I'm a little behind schedule in

Speaker:

that for a few reasons, some personal when I've had

Speaker:

some stuff to deal with at home, mainly like busy,

Speaker:

extra, extra curricular stuff (I c an't even say it

Speaker:

properly) for the kids, as well as being pretty busy

Speaker:

at work. As we get ready for a bunch of

Speaker:

new products, et cetera, but also as the podcast has

Speaker:

grown - and thank you so much for helping it

Speaker:

grow to where it is at the moment - I've

Speaker:

had more interest in people wanting to be guests, as

Speaker:

opposed to myself normally going out and finding guests and,

Speaker:

and inviting them on to be on the show, et

Speaker:

cetera, and that's been great.

Speaker:

That's been, it shows that the, the, the show's growing

Speaker:

and there's more awareness or on the Podcaster Stories podcast,

Speaker:

which is awesome. So thank you. But unfortunately, a few

Speaker:

of the guests were only interested in promoting a book

Speaker:

or on an online course or something, which came out

Speaker:

as I started digging more around them in what they

Speaker:

were bringing in to the, the chat and Podcaster Stories

Speaker:

has always been about, sharing the more personal stories of

Speaker:

the podcasters that we listen to. Getting to know their

Speaker:

personal lives, the adversities have overcome, and how that can

Speaker:

help you go through and overcome some of this stuff

Speaker:

that you may have gone through yourself that they have

Speaker:

already gone through. So it's a very specific, focused show,

Speaker:

and some of the guests, or to some of the

Speaker:

pitches that have received really weren't fitting into that, and

Speaker:

that threw back the recording schedule quite a bit, actually,

Speaker:

which is why I'm about probably about a month behind

Speaker:

now.

Speaker:

So I do apologize for that. The show should be

Speaker:

coming back to podcast apps everywhere next week. So that'll

Speaker:

be the third week in August, if you are listening

Speaker:

to this after the date, et cetera, I'm and if

Speaker:

you all listening to this is after the day, it

Speaker:

doesn't make sense because you're already know that there is

Speaker:

a new episodes out. So ignore that a little section.

Speaker:

So yes, it should be coming back next week, and

Speaker:

I'm excited to bring the guests that I've got recorded

Speaker:

so far. And the ones that have got lined up

Speaker:

to record and share with you, they've got some amazing

Speaker:

stories and really inspiring and just really genuine, nice people.

Speaker:

So I'm really excited to share that with you. Another

Speaker:

quick update is Podcaster Stories has joined Quite the Thing

Speaker:

media network, and this is a Scottish podcast network.

Speaker:

That the guys behind it, down to the podcasters on

Speaker:

the network, are very much geared towards the podcast in

Speaker:

the way I am, which is a very much about,

Speaker:

it's about you, the listener first and foremost, and bringing

Speaker:

the, the, the kind of conversations that you want to

Speaker:

hear and the kind of content you like to hear,

Speaker:

as well as being very community focused and involving our

Speaker:

listeners and involving the listeners of the networks and involving

Speaker:

the listener's of each individual podcast that's on there. So

Speaker:

I'm really excited to be joining the guy's over at

Speaker:

Quite the Thing media network, sorry podcast network. There's some

Speaker:

great shows on there already, and I've been meeting the

Speaker:

people behind the podcasts on there, and again, a great

Speaker:

group of people with great content and really diverse podcasts

Speaker:

as well, so I'd love for you to check out

Speaker:

the, the network and the various shows that are on

Speaker:

there at the moment.

Speaker:

You can find that by going to Podcaster Stories dot

Speaker:

com slash network that's Podcaster Stories dot com slash network,

Speaker:

and you can check out all the shows they've got

Speaker:

on there, and to find out more about the guys

Speaker:

on there, as well as follow them on social media,

Speaker:

et cetera. So, as I mentioned, just a quick update

Speaker:

to let you know where the show is. I do

Speaker:

apologize that it's been a bit of a quieter summer

Speaker:

than I anticipated it to be, but will be getting

Speaker:

back on track very, very soon. And I'm really excited

Speaker:

to continue and bring you a Season 4 of Podcaster

Speaker:

Stories. So thank you so much for your patience. I

Speaker:

really appreciate the support and the listens and the engagement

Speaker:

that you've given and the feedback that you have given

Speaker:

of the show so far. And I can't wait to

Speaker:

bring you Season 4. Until then, stay safe and speak
