Coming Up on Season 3 of Podcaster Stories

Season 3 of Podcaster Stories launches on Thursday, January 28, so in this bonus episode I just wanted to share what you can expect when the new season comes out.

Building on the slight change in direction in Season 2, where the show went deeper into the personal stories of my guests, Season 3 will continue to share the amazing stories of the people behind the voices of the shows we listen to.

  • Kicking off the season will be Fitz Koehler, a breast cancer survivor who overcame a 16-month battle with cancer while continuing to try and live the life she'd built for herself prior to her diagnosis.
  • After that, I'll be talking with Roman Prokopchuk, who at one time in his life worked for the Secret Service. Following the personal tragedy he and his wife suffered, Roman is now the foster parent to 23 kids, so I can't wait to share his story.

These are just a couple of examples of the amazing guests that are lined up for this new season.

A new feature of the show that I hope you'll like is the ability to recommend shows and podcasters to me. If there's someone that you feel has an amazing personal story to share, and you'd love to see their podcast reach new ears, you can send their details to me, and I'll check it out!

Simply head on over to the contact page on Podcaster Stories, and follow the steps there.

I hope you had a safe and happy time over the holidays. 2020 was one heck of a year, and hopefully 2021 will be the year we can start returning to some form of normality.

I'm really excited to return with season 3, and can't wait to start sharing with you, starting on Thursday, January 28. I'll see you then.

Season 3 of Podcaster Stories launches on Thursday, January 28,

Speaker:

so in this bonus episode I just wanted to share

Speaker:

what you can expect when the new season comes out.

Speaker:

Building on the slight change in direction in Season 2,

Speaker:

where the show went deeper into the personal stories of

Speaker:

my guests, Season 3 will continue to share the amazing

Speaker:

stories of the people behind the voices of the shows

Speaker:

we listen to. Kicking off the season will be Fitz

Speaker:

Koehler, a breast cancer survivor who overcame a 16 month

Speaker:

battle with cancer while continuing to try and live the

Speaker:

life she’d built for herself prior to her diagnosis. After

Speaker:

that, I’ll be talking with Roman Prokopchuk, who at one

Speaker:

time in his life worked for the Secret Service. Following

Speaker:

the personal tragedy he and his wife suffered, Roman is

Speaker:

now the foster parent to 23 kids, so I can’t

Speaker:

wait to share his story.

Speaker:

These are just a couple of examples of the amazing

Speaker:

guests that are lined up for this new season. If

Speaker:

you’re a regular listener to the show (and thank you

Speaker:

if you are!), you’ll have noticed the slight change in

Speaker:

format last season. Instead of the 14 episodes that were

Speaker:

in Season One, Podcaster Stories now has 8 episodes. This

Speaker:

came about through the feedback I’ve received from kind listeners

Speaker:

like yourself, who really enjoyed the longer format of the

Speaker:

show, and the deeper dive into the lives of the

Speaker:

guests as a result. Because of this, I’ve shortened the

Speaker:

seasons so each episode can be enjoyed more, and listeners

Speaker:

can easily revisit any episodes that might have been missed

Speaker:

the first time around. To help with that, I’m currently

Speaker:

creating curated collections of each season, so you can listen

Speaker:

at your own pace wherever you are.

Speaker:

I’ll share more details about that soon. A new feature

Speaker:

of the show that I hope you’ll like is the

Speaker:

ability to recommend shows and podcasters to me. If there’s

Speaker:

someone that you feel has an amazing personal story to

Speaker:

share, and you’d love to see their podcast reach new

Speaker:

ears, you can send their details to me, and I’ll

Speaker:

check it out! Simply head on over to podcasterstories.com/contact, and

Speaker:

follow the steps there. The podcast continues to be received

Speaker:

well, and I’m really grateful for that. From reviews of

Speaker:

the show, to emails talking about specific episodes, it’s truly

Speaker:

humbling to know people enjoy listening to the show as

Speaker:

much as I enjoy making it. So thank you. If

Speaker:

you enjoy the show and you want to leave a

Speaker:

review of your own, you can do so at lovethepodcast.com/podcasterstories.

Speaker:

There, you can leave a review on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher,

Speaker:

Podchaser, and Castbox. I hope you had a safe and

Speaker:

happy time over the holidays. 2020 was one heck of

Speaker:

a year to put it mildly, and hopefully 2021 will

Speaker:

be the year we can start returning to some form

Speaker:

of normality. I’m really excited to return with season 3,

Speaker:

and can’t wait to start sharing with you, starting on

Speaker:

Thursday, January 28. I’ll see you then.

Podcaster Stories
We listen to our favourite podcasts, but don’t always get to know the stories of the people behind these voices. Podcaster Stories looks to change that.

Danny Brown

Danny Brown is the host of One Minute Podcast Tips, the show that helps you be a better podcaster in just a minute a week. He's also hosted, and co-hosted, several other podcasts - if you called him a serial podcaster, you wouldn't be wrong! He's been in the podcasting space for over 10 years, and has the scars to prove it.

He's the Head of Podcaster Support and Experience at Captivate.fm, the world's only growth-oriented podcast hosting, distribution, analytics, and monetization platform for the serious indie podcaster.

He lives in beautiful Muskoka, Ontario, Canada with his wife and two kids, where he spends winters in front of a cozy fire and summers by the lake. Well, when he finds time away from podcasting, of course...
